WFDB: Every Deafblind Woman Has a Story Worth Telling

The World Federation of the Deafblind (WFDB) Women’s Committee is pleased to present its new video initiative:

Every Deafblind Woman Has a Story Worth Telling

In the video, Deafblind women from Greece, Finland, Spain, Uganda and Croatia share personal experiences of identity, independence, communication barriers, discrimination, violence, access to support and resilience. They communicate in their own languages and preferred forms of communication, ensuring that their stories are told through their own voices. The video includes English subtitles and voice-over.

A complete accessible video description, all on-screen text and full transcripts of the testimonies are also available.
