As part of the Global Education Campaign for Persons with Deafblindness led by DbI, we share the “Guide and Haptics for Persons with Deafblindness”, a valuable resource that promotes communication, orientation, and participation in community life.
This material introduces practical strategies such as human guiding and haptic symbols—key tools to support safety, autonomy, and inclusion for persons with deafblindness.
We especially highlight the commitment of FUSSDIM , an institution in El Salvador, which together with SIL Global developed this document, making a significant contribution to the promotion of rights and the creation of more accessible educational environments.
