320 participants with and without lived experience from 23 countries, around 70 presentations and workshops: The 1st Regional DbI Conference in Asia is now open and already a huge and important success.
Highlights of the first day included the celebration of the 20th birthday of the Society of Deafblind Parents Nepal and the presentation of the latest DbI Awards.
Two Distinguished Service Awards went to Namita Jacob and Sunil Abbas from India, the latest Lifetime Achievement Award to Graciela Ferioli from Argentina.
