Remember our engagement for communication rights?
DbI is one of the pillars of the International Communication Rights Alliance ICRA. ICRA has had remarkable success in addressing the UNCRPD Committee twice, giving the floor to two members with communication needs.
ICRA has also spread across 5 continents, gaining new and passionate members – for example with the 1st DbI Africa Conference in 2022.
Nevertheless there is still a long way to go. The Policy Statement and the Call to Action below keep being essential, most important and urgent to have impact.
