Network of the Month: Acquired Deafblindness Network (ADBN)

Dr. Peter Simcock, Chair of the ADBN

PETER SIMCOCK

Hi, I’m Pete Simcock and I have the privilege of being the chair of the Deafblind International Acquired Deafblindness Network, ADBN.
We are a global network of over 230 members and our members are people living with acquired deafblindness, practitioners, researchers and academics and people who are a combination of these.
One of the aims of ADBN is to connect with each other, to share knowledge and experiences so that we can develop our understanding of acquired deafblindness.
We connect through our webinars, through our new Facebook group and through ADBNews, our newsletter.
So, if you’re interested in acquired deafblindness, then we would love to connect with you.
Do get in touch with the network!

Liz Duncan, Co-Chair of the ADBN

LIZ DUNCAN

Hello, I’m Liz Duncan.
Along with my colleagues Femke and Peter, I Co-Chair the ADBN network.
ADBN is celebrating its relaunch. We’re also celebrating what we can all bring to the network: our expertise, our experience, our enthusiasm, our passion for acquired deafblindness and all that we can share.
We want to celebrate those achievements and we want you to be part of that network.
We look forward to working with you.

Femke Krijger, Co-Chair of the ADBN

FEMKE KRIJGER

And also, I have the privilege of being a Co-chair of the ADBN.
By connecting, really getting to know each other and celebrating all the passion and knowledge and insights we have, we want to grow. Not only grow the network, but grow as members of the network. And the three of us really are passionate to make that happen, but we can only do that with you.
So please join us and connect, celebrate and grow within the ADBN and far beyond. Thank you.
