ICF RESEARCH BRANCH – ICF Core Sets for Deafblindness

DbI gratefully acknowledges the invaluable contributions of all collaborators and supporters whose involvement has been essential to the success of this project.

We are especially grateful for the wonderful scientific and policy leadership of Walter Wittich and Ricard López and the excellent collaboration with the World Federation of the Deafblind WFDB.

The ICF Core Sets for Deafblindness are very important for appropriate services in the health and education systems and, in particular, for raising awareness and recognising deafblindness as a unique and distinct disability.

The ICF Core Sets for Deafblindness are also a central basis for the ongoing project for a global definition of deafblindness.

Let’s celebrate! And after that, we will be back with more on the topic.
